Wonderful Wednesday - What 'cha doing and eating?

It's been quiet in here lately. In the past we've had eating plan and workout postings. When I've participated I think I did a better job at both because I was accountable. We often give a quick update in what were up to, eating and doing. So here goes!

I love Wednesdays because I get to telework - work from home on my PC connected to our servers. I love it for many reasons - I don't have to get out of my comfy clothes, I have more food options (good AND bad!) and don't have to remember to bring food and best of all, take an exercise break in the middle of the day!

I suppose I could do this daily from the office, but I'm not quite there yet. My workouts are the wet variety and door to door are at least 90 mins, more likely 2 hours. Anyway:

Pre B: Coffee with instant creamer, splenda, cinnamon
B: Apple cinnamon protein oatmeal
S: Choc shake, Diet Rockstar
L: Choc shake, deli roast beast
S: Choc shake, Diet Rockstar #2
S: Protein bar post workout
D: Stir fry of ground turkey, peppers, onions and steamed green beans
S: Choc protein pudding w/ 10 pecans

Swimming today for the first time in a while. I may have to only do 40 instead of 50 laps.

Hi Patty
I am on my way to Walmart for my paperwork  I got a job..

Lucas my youngest has 3 football games this week so i am trying to keep things in the house to put in the crockpot i am running out of ideas...

B/fast  carbmaster yogurt
Snck cheese stick
Lunch   chili with lowfat cheese
snack  hot chocolate with protein
Dinner  more chili
Snck carbmaster yogurt

I am on a chili kick its all i want to eat................................................................................

That's awesome to get a job in this economy, but you have a great personality for working with people. You should do well. All healed up from the panni?

I think you started a chili trend ...

I am happy to have a job.....
I have healed up great from my panni it is wonderful to beable to wear 22-24 jeans  i could probaley go smaller but because of the lymphadema in my leg i cant yet..

I love chili i spent 5 hours in the E.r. with Lucas tonight and as we were leaving he said mom we gotta go passed wendys can i please have some chili..I had to laugh.

I love turkey chili out of a can as a fast meal. What can I say - I'm easy to please.

I'm back at work after being gone since last Thursday.

My routine this morning was all messed up, so I forgot my vitamins at home.  I'm going to scour my purse, I'm sure there is something rollling around in there. Otherwise, I'll try to wedge it all in, two hours apart tonight. (Will my hubby be understanding when I'm setting alarms to go off in the middle of the night?)

Some minor accompishments:

After slacking off over the weekend and sleeping in, I got up at 4:30 and did 40 minutes on my bike.

I bought my skinny daughter some M&Ms at a truck stop yesterday when we were traveling. They were buy one, get one. The free one just got put in my secret pal's mailbox at work.


Food for the day:

B: 1/2 cup oatmeal w 1/2 scoop of unflavored protein powder, 1/4 cup Over the Moon skim
Second Breakfast (gotta love hobbits!): Greek yogurt
L: 1/2 cup Mu-Shu Pork innards (restaurant leftovers) 1/2 mushu wrapper
S: super yummie gluten free cinnamon sesame bar (5 g sugar/4 g protein/4 g fiber)  -- found it at a vegetarian/hippie store in Northern California, probably never ever find it again
D: probably chili
One food makes you larger, and one food makes you small...

I HATE it when I go to work unprepared food and drink wise, so I feel for ya.

I've had to drive home at lunch because I forgot to take my morning meds. After a few times of that I started keeping some in my desk.

I wish I could get my butt to an AM workout. Good job!

And I don't think any victory involving proximity to chocolate is minor. Just sayin....

Well, it's Thursday, but I spent A LONG time at the local thrift store.  I went from one end to the next and it's a BIG store.  OMG!  I feel like I'm gonna die!!!  I am so exhausted. 

Found a whole lotta stuff and spent $100.00.

The exercise is great, but spending money isn't.  Tee-hee.
