Hunger

The greatest thing about having WLS, other than the weight coming off, is that I'm never hungry.  Before the surgery, I was hungry alllll the time.  And what a miserable feeling with your trying to lose weight.  But after the surgery, I'm never hungry, and I'm loving it.  I think its the reason I dont feel deprived when I see someone eating something I can't.  My questions is, Will this last?  How long till I feel hunger pangs again?  And will it be as strong as before?  I do take comfort in the fact that if and when I do get hungry, it will take less to make that feeling go away.  However, I didnt get to 423lbs by stopping eating when I was full, now did I?  I knew to stop eating when I literally could'nt take a deep breath.
Thanks for listening and posting!  Ya'll are the bestest!!

My understanding is that the feelings of hunger begin to come back around the 6 month mark.  I am a bit past that and really do not feel hunger yet.  I am hoping it hangs on this way for a while longer.  But at least now Full is full.  It hurts to eat too much so I am confident that even when it comes back I will be fine.

Best of luck to you!

I just had my surgery, and never being hungry is soooo weird!  I here it comes back though.  Even though I don't feel hungry, I still have major cravings for my faves like pizza and McD's.  I'm hoping in a few months those cravings won't be there as much.  I'm looking forward to making some healthy versions of my old faves too!
