Feeling grateful...

I haven't posted for a really long time but tonight I wandered here. I started out at over 500 with a BMI over 70 and 2 1/2 years later I'm in the 200's working towards my goal of 200 lbs. Just feeling grateful tonight for the journey I am on.

For those that are trying to get surgery, keep fighting the fight, it will be worth it all!! I promise!!

I have to keep telling myself still everyday, not to give up, excerise, eat right, over and over it goes in my head!!

congrats on ur success... so inspirational.. i tell my self the same thing daily.. this is a lifestyle change not  a diet.. so imtrying to recondition my self to view it that way... my hardest thing to do is getting in those meals and snacks... i think subconsciously no matter what i will always associate eating with gaining weight.. even tho i know its not true.. persay..  over eating results in gaining weight but not (eating) but for some reason in my mind i cant differentiate between the two..  Good luck on reaching ur goal!!

Wow!   Thanks so much for posting that.  It is so encouraging.  I have so far to go.  But now I have my date and it even moved up a week, due to a cancellation - so it will be here in a bit over 3 weeks!  I'm so ready, yet feel like a baby in some ways.

Seeing your success, with a BMI even a bit higher than me (63 plus point something) makes me have hope.  I can do this.  The 200s have not been in my life for a very long time.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

Thanks for posting this.  My BMI was 76 something at the beginning of my journey.  You are an inspiration to me!
