Hi!  I'm in the beginning of the process so I haven't had the RNY yet and have no advice.  But, it sounds to me like you are doing awesome!  I think there has to be some adjustment when you lose so much and your body is just taking a few days to catch up.  Hang in there!!  and Welcome!

My beginning BMI was over 50.  Did you take your measurements?  If not, please do so.  Even when you feel like you're in a stall, you may be losing inches.  I had many stalls over the last year.  I've lost 155 pounds since my surgery 11 months ago, 183 overall.  Take care of yourself and it will happen!!

Hugs!!
Laura

Girl, I had the SAME problem.  When I stopped losing for a week, I thought I was done and I would be the ONLY person in history to not lose weight after surgery! lol  Your body just needs to adjust.  You will be fine!! Stick to your diet and keep moving!!! :) You're doing great!!

Thanks Sabrina!!! I thought I was in this alone. I got a new attitude this week and I am just focusing on the proteins and water intake. Hopefully when I get onthe scale on 08/29 then I will see a difference. I am actually going to walk twice a day now.

I'm still pre-surgical, but I notice that if I don't keep my fluids up, I don't lose as well. Stay hydrated and see ff that helps any.

Welcome!

Thanks Ms. Patti. This is definitely my BIG focus this week. I am sipping until I get all my liquids in and then I will go to sleep. Sip, Sip, Sip is my motto!!

Sweety!  I almost missed ya here! You are doing SO good! You're getting in all your protein and water PLUS all the walking you do. Your poor little body is just taking a breather so it can catch up to YOU! Besides....Dr. Garth and Michelle both told us to expect the stall at 3 weeks. That 18# in 3 weeks is right on track...you're doing great!

Hey there Ms. Dee!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who is Michelle?...Did you mean Melinda??????(lol)......I wish I could skip stalls and they all just disapear!!! Well I have been talking to my body lately so hopefully it has rested up and I will start seeing results soon. Dr Garth gave me a goal of 20lbs down by end of first month so I have a few days left. I know I can make it!!!!
