Hi everyone,

Hope you're all having a relaxing summer evening. I'm delighted to share with you the thrilling news that I'm 100 pounds down since my 3/31/09 surgery! My SigOt took some pics tonight, and I've replaced my dancing bear avatar with a pic of me! Dave is a pastry chef who has lost 45 lbs. since my surgery date cooking healthy, cutting portions (not quite as dinky as mine!), and eating more slowly. Cannot fathom 100 lbs. in 4.5 months, wow! Hoping the next leg of this journey is as healthy and rewarding as the first one...I'm seriously committing to the dreaded gym to maximize results as I've never truly given consistent, vigorous exercise (other than fun stuff like sex and dancing!) a chance. Thank you for your invaluable postings that continue to inspire, motivate and teach me. I have learned more from the OH site than from my bariatric team or actual support group meetings. I'm beaming with health & happiness, and am loving the evolving me! Have a great rest-of-the-weekend!

Way to go!! You are awesome!

Exercise as a regular part of your life, 4 or 5 times a week, will increase your health, improve circulation, increase the intensity of your ******s, solve world-hunger, and fix the hole in the ozone layer. No, really. I'm serious.

Anyway, after that bit of silliness, jog on over to the Exercise and Fitness message board. Those guys never have an issue with weight regain, and I've been following them for years. I used to hate exercise because I fel****ched, judged and criticized by everyone. Now, I realize that I am the only person whose opinion I should worry about! Yes, I jiggle when I run, but at least I RUN!!

Be prepared for your husband to comment frequently on your smaller waist and greater stamina in romance as a result of your exercise, you lucky woman!
