Hey all......

I left a post on wat I should do to have my surgery. Either lose the 20 pds and have it lap rny or do it open due to havin a higher bmi. Well I chose to lose 20 pds by the 25th when I go to weigh in. Last tuesday I started the liquid diet on my own and still on as of today. I couldnt wait till the 25 to see if I lost anything so I went to my doc office just to use the scale and found out I have lost 15 PDS..... OMG ...OMG! I  couldnt believe that I lost that much in 10 days. I was soooo excited and ran home to tell all thats supporting me. Only 5 more to go and I can have it lap. Imma work hard this weekend and monday to get this 5 pds off plz have me in ur prayers. I told my body today you will not defeat me!  will post after the 25th good luck all.

Wow, this is SO COOL. What did you do when you got hungry and wanted to eat? Did you just convince yourself somehow that it was liquids only? The next 5 pounds will be EASY now that you know you can do it. I'm really happy for you. Let \us know how you are after the surgery.

That's awesome!  Those last 5 pounds are gonna fly off!  I think you are being smart - a Lap seems so much easier than an open - eek.  :)  Good luck and keep us posted!

that's great!  even doing lap is enough pain to deal with, i can't imagine having it done open.  i'm just barely 5 days out and i sure wouldn't want to know that pain.  lol  good luck!
