Hello everyone!!  I am new as for signing up... but, I have been a lurker for almost 9 months.  OH members have been an incredible inspiration!!  I love this site!!  I originally started off wanting a lapband, but, but, realized that the RNY is the route that I plan to go.  I have done the 6 months.. and I have had my things submitted to insurance, waiting on an approval now.  I have the doctors consultation set up for August 24th.  I am so scared.. yet so EXCITED!!!  I am so looking forward to getting to know all of you!  I plan to make this forum my home... it is wonderful to find a place where I can feel the most comfortable!!
God Bless!

Oh.. I am 5'4 and last known weight in the doctors office was three eighty four... sorry had to type it out... my laptop is messed up lol... (thanks to spills from my son)

Welcome there are a m lot of newbies lately and that is a good sign. This is really a place to get comfortable.  I hope you get your approval pretty quickly. The waitng for the approval is the one of the worst parts. I am 4'10" and started at 303lbs with a BMI of 63.3..  I am pre op and still jumping through hoops for insurances. I am pretty new to this site too but I am really happy I chose this site. I lvoe the people here and how they really understand each other.

God Bless

Welcome. Sorry about the lap top. I started out at three seventy one. (that's kind of fun; I'm easily amused). I hope you hit it off with your surgeon. I did with mine. He is EAGER to cut on me, but I have to lose a little more weight for insurance to pay. When I stand at the copier at work, I try to do a little exercising. The weight is NOT coming off quickly in spite of my best efforts. I'll make it, but not as fast as I'd like.
