Im also over 50 yrs old and woould like a dr exp with over 50 BMI and age and from NYC.Thanks

Most DS surgeons are very experienced with higher BMI patients, and I know there are some in NY. You can find a list of surgeons at www.dsfacts.com (they don't do JUST the DS).

dr roslin out of lenox hill. He was my surgeon and I had the DS with a BMI of 64.

yes, the DS is the best surgery for the SMO. I'd recommend looking at www.dsfacts.com and look at the published medical studies on the DS.
