Tummy tuck time!

I did it!  Yesterday I met with a plastic surgeon and scheduled my tummy tuck for August 28th!! I'm so excited!

He told me that this is one of his favorite surgeries to do because he knows it will make a huge difference in my life, he also said he thinks the results will be amazing!

I can't believe it's going to happen.


 

Congratulations.  You need to do this for yourself.  You were taking care of your mom and dealing with that for a while.  I'm excited for you.  I've been to one consult and have another next week.  I'm looking at doing mine in December.

Congrats!  Even with the huge hole I developed after my TT incision turned necrotic (and the resulting nasty scar), I love having a flat (or ALMOST flat) tummy!

I just had surgery 3 weeks ago, and I want to start saving money for the tummy tuck in the future.  Do you mind me asking about how much a tummy tuck is typically?  I know the prices vary greatly, I am from the Midwest, has anyone had a tummy tuck up here in corn and soybean country??
