waiting on the insurance now...

No that would be great if I had two insurances but I don't..  I got the approval on July 23rd from BCBS but I received the letter on the 24th, the same day the company my husband works for informed us they were changing insurance to Health Alliance on 8-1-09..   1 week notice.  so the approval by Blue Cross did no good because as of July 31st that was the last day they covered me. It was impossible to get the surgery by then. So now I am sitting here waiting on Health Alliance and I do not know if they have any other requirements and do not know if I can use the surgeon and hospital I have now because they are not in network for Health Alliance. He is already the second surgeon I have had to choose because the first one lost his license. I was just getting comfortable and confident in this one. I have had all my requirements finished and waiting like this since June 4th. so many road blocks and delays it is not funny.
At least they do cover the surgery but again I am waiting on approval and their decision if I have met their requirements and who can do the surgery and where..

I am sorry to hear about your situation....too bad you couldnt have the surgery betweem July 23-July 31.

Well most insurances require the same, as I have been seeing in my research.

I have BCBS, and they have change there policy as of 7/1/09. I am hoping to get in on the new changes.
