I had my surgery 5/11 and lately it seems like I'm able to eat ALOT more is this normal or did I screw up somehow?  I think I'm going to do liquids for a little while agin because I feel like I haven't lost weight in the past couple weeks.  My scale is broken so I have no clue if I have lost anything.  I have lost around 40-50 lbs and I thought I would've lost a lot more by now.

Depending on what you eat, it may "slide" through. I can eat a lot more cottage cheese (3/4 cup) than I can a hamburger patty (2 oz maybe). You stomach is also more healed from the surgery.

I also went into a stall about a month out that lasted 36 days -- I didn't lose an ounce. But I did lose a lot of inches. Lots of people here seem to get stalls around that same time. All you can do is:

Drink your water.
Drink your protein.
Eat your protein first.
Take your vitamins.
Exercise.
Follow whatever else your doc wants you to do.
Repeat.

Everyone loses at different rates. There is no rhyme or reason. I'm doing real good this week. Last week -- meh. Next week - who knows? I'm not doing anything different.

Let's both try to be patient!! (me especially!)

Good luck with your journey.

SO at 3 moths they considered it very good to loose around 60 pounds so I would say if you are at 50 in two months that is excellent.  Please remember that this is not a race, it is about getting heathier.  We all loose at different rates so work with and listen to your body!  Hang in there, you are already sucessful.  You have made drastic changes and you will hit some plateaus along the way.  Don't stress as that does not help you loose!

Hang in and good luck!
