Roll call! Raise your hand and be counted.
Hi
My name is Teresa. I am new to this forum. I am 50 years old and I am super morbidly obese. I was at a BMI of 63 and I have lost down to a BMI of 53.9, so I am still super morbidly obese. I have lost this weight on a pre op diet.
I have a wonderful, compassionate and supportive husband. I have been married to Randy for over 30 years. He is my rock, my foundation...
I have a great daughter who is almost 29 years old she just had a baby boy 5 months ago. He is my very first grandchild. She is an only child and her husband is an only child so they said don't count on any more. My husband and I really understand since we are both only children too. I need to get this weight off so I can play with my grandson and be around when he graduates college..I hope>>>
I have been obese most of my life. I now am so obese that I am so very very limited on what I can do for myself. I am really looking forward to weight loss surgery.
At this point I am still jumping through hoops for the insurance.. But it will happen, maybe just not as quick as I would like I to be.

Hello all,
I am Caroline. I had my surgery about 15 months ago. I started with a BMI of 63,(wt of 344#) and am now down to 35.7 (195#). I have been stuck for about the last 3 months anywhere between 193-195. I have had lots of changes in the past few weeks. I have just changed to a 40/hr per week day job, after working 12 hr shifts at night for the past 16 years.
I feel like I am struggling lately, but I know I can get back on track! I still want to lose another 30 pounds or so.
Good luck to all!!
