Morning Everyone!!


I cannot believe it is the almost the 4th of July! Where has the first half of summer gone?  We are leaving on vacation Sunday evening, I am ready to go mentally, packing and everything is still not done.  I am such a slacker.  I will be doing it late Saturday night in a panic, and lord knows I always forget something....

We are going to have a low key holiday, we are just going to one of the local festivals and watching fireworks.  I am not cooking anything from Sat on.  Saturday starts my vacation from the kitchen.  LOL!!

60 minutes with my trainer upper body, core, and cardio

B- Eggs with veggies and chia seeds
Post Workout Shake
L- Turkey burger with cheese on 1/2 arnolds sammy crisp with small salad with lt ranch
S- Protein Shake
D- Chilpolte marinated chicken skewers with salad
S- SF Pudding with Whip

Protein (40%)  Carbs (29%) Fat (32%)

I also can't believe it's almost July 4th!  It's been so cool here that I haven't turned the AC on once, although I am sure my recent weightloss is helping with that too.  I have some plans but not anything huge.  I was so stressed at work with the second quarter ending this past week that I am really looking forward to some relaxation and "me time" this weekend.  Tonight I'm going to fireworks in one of the Jersey shore towns, tomorrow I don't have anything planned until the evening, when I'm going out with some friends for dinner.  Then Saturday a 4th of July BBQ.  

Here's today's menu:

B- Syntha-6 cookies & cream
S- string cheese
L- chicken thigh, broccoli
S- Protein Shake (post-workout)
D- Not sure yet.  Going out for dinner.
S- Nonfat Latte

I'm sure I'll have a protein bar in there somewhere.  I'm going to stash one in my purse so I won't be tempted by all the food at the boardwalk tonight.

Well I haven't done this in a while, but since I'm here...

B - venti nonfat sugar free vanilla latte - I am now banning Splenda, I'd rather not have sweetener at all

L - toppings off of two slices of veggie pizza (I was stuck in a leadership meeting of which I had been given the impression we'd be having lasagna and salad.. the filling of lasagna and the salad was what I'd planned.. HATE pizza)

D - rotisserie chicken, I can eat a thigh and leg generally, or a breast.. probably a few brussels sprouts

S - fresh pineapple YUM!

S - hot herbal tea with approx 1 tsp of honey

Coffee....

Breakfast:   greekyogurt w/blueberries and kashi golean crunch

Lunch:  Turkey breast, bacon, w/lf thosand island dressing, cherry tomatos

Snack:  cheese stick and 2 triscuits

Dinner:   roast chicken, salad w/goat cheese

Snack:  s/f italian ice

Hot tea

Happy Rainy Friday!!

I think Mother Nature needs a vacation or a calander.  Its 45 degress this morning and it is not expected to get above 65 today.  Blech!!!!

We are going to a friends for a bbq today, thank goodness they have a screened in heated porch lol!!  I have been wearing a sweatshirt or a jacket everyday this week.  Oh well...  We are headed to fireworks tonight, I am sure to bring my jean and sweatshirt.  BRRRR.....

Wii Fit Cardio Boxing 30 minutes and another 30 doing hula hoop, running, and stepping and maybe some yoga.

B- Egg and Cheese on 1/2 Arnold's Sammy Thin (I was craving a mcmuffin this morning for some reason).
L- BBQ not sure what is on the menu besides Hamburgers and the deviled eggs I am bringing.
S- Protein Shake
D- Another BBQ and I do know chicken is on the menu.
S- Protein Shake at Fireworks

I just tracked my GoWear armband -- I had given them my work address for delivery, figuring that would be best.  Well guess what?  UPS is trying to deliver it today and I'm home from work!  Now I have to wait until Monday!!!  I guess this means I can be a slug all weekend, right? Yeah, not so much...

Here's today's menu:

B- Half a Supreme Protein bar (yeah, I know, not a good choice but nothing else sounded good)
L- Leftover beef brisket from the restaurant I went to last night, green beans
S- Protein Shake (post workout)
D- Not sure yet. Going out to dinner, maybe a burger without the bun.
S- Fage with berries

Exercise will be either Wii Fit or EA Active. Not sure which yet!

Good Morning Everyone!!!

The sun is shinning and it is warm!!  It is going to be a quiet day for us because we are leaving for vacation tomorrow, we have a BBQ tonight but I think the afternoon is going to be spent by the pool.

4 mile walk this morning and ran stadium steps.

B- Protein Shake
L- bbq chicken and veggies
S- Protein Shake
D- BBQ at a friends, not sure what is on the menu
S- I want Rita's SF water ice, we will see if that happens before fireworks
