Need some suggestions...Please.
Hello. I'm Jen. I lurk on this forum from time to time but don't think I have posted much. I began my journey at 375lbs and a BMI of 60ish. But the help I need is for my best friend.....
My friend Phil is a LARGE man. I don't know what he weighs but would estimate something around 600. He is getting married on Oct 31, 2009!!! Isn't that fantatstic? However, he is having a really hard time finding something to wear. He doesn't want to wear a tux (the wedding is not that formal). He ordered some dress pants that were 8x and they weren't quite big enough. he has a really big belly. Also, if he gets a dress shirt that fits his belly (which he hasn't been able to find anyway) it will be way too big around his neck. So, I am wondering if any of you (men in particular) have suggestions of places he might find some dress pants? Any suggestions or advice about finding appropriate atire for him would be helpful. I was hoping maybe there was something out there that we hadn't tried or know about? Thanks in advance...

I don't know if your friend has tried ordering from King Size Direct? Their web site is http://www.kingsizedirect.com/ They go upto size 10XL and they have dress pants, he may find something that fits him comfortably. Also maybe he could check into a local taylor who maybe able to make him a shirt that fits him or if he has a shirt he likes maybe they can just alter it so it fits him right in the area's that are too big. Just some suggestions. i hope he finds something for his special day.
