Has anyone had enlarged spleen?
Hi,
I recently had ultrasound due to I was having pain in my right upper side under my rib cage. So my dr order a ultrasound and blood work. The ultrasound came out remarkable. But there was a mildly enlarged spleen. What does this mean.
I do have problems with constipation and passing gas. I currently taking benefiber, miralax. I try the metamucil but can't tolerate the taste. It is gross tasting. I finally passing some gas and going a little bit. But at least I am not straining my self. This is my 2nd episode since March when i had my knee surgery. Last time doctor said it was constipation or gastiritis.

August 2010 weight 138 lbs lost of 179.5 lbs but gain again since my gallbladder surgery Oct 2010 range recentlly my weight got up to 166 and I was in freak mode. I am now down to 152.6 hoping to get back to 135 and started generic wellbutrin

Thanks for replying back. I have pick up the ultrasound films this morning so that he can see the films himself besides the report. I hope he can figure what is going on. I see him tomorrow at 2 pm. I can't wait. I look at the films myself but have no clue what to look for.
