"I am still thirsty..."

I love that song.  It's going to be nice and warm here today! Never, ever thought I would be excited about that!  I usually hated summer and would retreat into the house into the central air and park there all day.  Now, not so much.  Will pick up the kids from camp in a bit and get back into the pool.  Yesterday I got too much sun and I look like a rock lobster and I am sure my dress for the wedding we are going to Saturday will look much better when I am browner (if that is a word).

60 minutes core, cardio, and upper body.  We changed my workouts since I have geared my training goals towards doing a triathlon next summer........

B- Eggs with chia seeds, onions, peppers
S- Post workout shake
L- Chicken Kabob and Hummus
S- Protein Iced Coffee
D- Turkey Burger with Cheese and Salad, lf ranch
S- SF Pudding with wHip

Protein (47%) Carbs (26%) Fat (27%)

Have a great rest of the day everyone!!

Yeah baby, 2010 is the year of the traithlon!!!  I am going to up my trainer sessions to either two or three times a week, depending on the cost.  I think it'll be well worth the investment.  It is supposed to get hot here today too, and I am also amazed at how I just don't feel the heat like I used to.  I was so, SO miserable all last summer -- I'm glad I don't have to deal with that anymore!

Here is today's menu:

B: Syntha-6 strawberry milkshake, coffee (not mixed together though!)
L: Chicken thigh simmered in diced tomatoes
S: cannelini, tomato and fresh mozzarella salad
S: protein shake (post workout)
D: Steamed sole with spinach
S: Fage with blueberries

Exercise will be a Step & Abs class with my favorite step instructor.  And then about 10 or 20 minutes with the Wii Fit later tonight, just so it doesn't snark at me for not doing it!

Have a great day, all!

I hope to get some sun this weekend too. I'm getting pasty.

Isn't it amazing about dealing with the heat as smaller people? Yesterday was 85 outside but the house was very cool as I shut it up early. I was happier outside in the warmth!

My hip went out again this morning, so I'm seeing the regular doc tomorrow. The intense pain stops if I stick my leg out behind me and shake it, but I want a more permanent solution. I'm a whimp about pain. Grumble.

B - MF bar & coffee
S - SF latte & MF pudding
L - MF appetite supressant choc shake
S - string cheese
D - STEAK!!! Grilled veggies (onion, red pepper, zucchini)
S - pudding

I was thinking that exact same thing about the heat.  I was thinking earlier "Oh I guess it warmed up, what is it, like 82?"  Turned out it was 90!  I can't believe the difference!!!
