Thank you linda, I know that no one can make the decision about which surgery is best for me.That's why i said that i'll just wait until i met with the surgeon to see if he agrees with me.At this point im not even nervous anymore i just wanna meet him already and see what he have to say.

Well I was 470 and 59 at time of surgery. My doctor made the decision as far as which surgery would be the best and safest for me. Please read my profile.
I am grateful and have had no complications.

Hello and welcom I was 416 when I had my consult for WLS nov 08 with a BMI of 67.  My surgeon asked me to lose 40 lbs pre-op which I was able to lose total of 47 lbs.  Like you I had done research on all the many different types of WLS and I liked the fact that my MD left the choice up to me although she explained the pros and cons of each surgery.  My choice ended up being the VSG, which for me seems like the best choice I could have made.   To date I have lost total of 79 lbs pre-op and post op totals.
