Weekend Whaddaya doing & eating

I Made Eggplant Parmesan for my date last night  (No pasta, low fat Mozzarella and Parm, in home canned NSA sauce from last summer's garden)  I am seeing Internet guy #2 now. The 1st one was kinda nuts (not good nuts)

I walked the perimeter of a small local island yesterday before it rained, we went canoeing Thursday.  It's a surprisingly good arm workout! 

Today I am planning on a pro shake for Breakfast, leftover EP Parm for lunch or dinner with some broccoli from the day before, and maybe a tofu steak with soy sauce for the other meal...not sure.  there'll probably be a light 80 yogurt in there too.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!

Take a walk today and I am probably going to do 60 minutes of Wii Fit

L- chicken thigh in bbq and green beans
S- Unsure till I plug my numbers in
D- Flank steak on the grill with grilled veggies NOM NOM NOM
S- SF Pudding with SF Cool wHip

No numbers yet, we were up very late last nigh****ching my PENGUINS WIN THE STANLEY CUP!!!!  We are headed home from Pittsburgh last night instead of later today.  I will be back in town on Tuesday for the victory parade.  THe last one I went to I was 17(the last time they won the cup) , so I get to take my son 17 years later...WOO HOO!!!  Yesterday we went to the arts festival in the city and I walked for miles and had an amazing day.  Before surgery I would have had Dan drop me off right in front walked a few minutes, made up an excuse had him get the car and left.  Not anymore.....

Isn't it awesome the difference that a year makes? While I'm walking a different path, I'm 90 lbs. lighter than I was 13 months ago. I've been spending more time in the garden than in the gym, but the sunshine helps my depression and gettng my fingers in the dirt helps my psyche.

Weeded this morning in the utility area. I'm going to plant scarlet runner beans there. Oops, this is not the garden thread.

Heather, that sounds like it was an awesome time in The Steel City. I know my nephews are pumped re the cup! 2 for 2, let's go Bucs!

Stella - How great you are gettng out and walking in nature. That's a goal of mine!

I'm planning a swim later today as well as housecleaning - that counts, right?

D - Grilled turkey burgers, grilled zucchini & onions w/ rosemary

Happy weekend, everyone.  Here's my menu from today:

B- Coffee with vanilla Max Protein mixed in (only ok, not sure I'd have it again)
L- chicken thigh simmered in diced tomatoes with basil, and romano cheese on top. SO GOOD.
S- cheese stick, half a Supreme Protein bar
D- another chicken thigh.  It was good enough to have twice in one day.  :)
S- Greek yogurt with berries

Exercise: 40 minutes with Wii Fit

We are headed back to Pittsburgh for the Victory parade Monday at noon.  We decided to go back down today and go back over to the arts festival and we are having dinner with my "gay husband" and his family tonight.

It's Sunday!  Yesterday I'll admit that other than working out, I had a total Couch Day, and I enjoyed just about every minute of it!  Today I'm feeling a little more ambitious, though.  I'm going to work out after I finish typing this, then I'm going to go see the Hangover, and out for dinner.  Here's today's menu:

B- Chocolate Max Protein, coffee
S- cheese stick
L- chicken thigh simmered in diced tomatoes with basil, and romano cheese on top.
S- Half a Supreme Protein bar
D- Not sure yet, having dinner out with a friend. (A friend, not a friend, mind you.)
S- Greek yogurt with berries

For exercise, I'm going to do 40 minutes with the Wii Fit.

Today I didn't eat till noon.  We went out so I got eggs.  I had a little piece of Splenda Apple Pie at Aunt May's house and just made a chocolate CHIKE with "extra protein" milk.  that I'm currently woring on.  I'll eat something real later prolly.

No exercise today...I'm hiking in an undisclosed location tomorrow (my blog readers can imagine where...lol, just don't want to specify here.  I hike alone and want to avoid getting axe murdered by crazed internet weirdos).  It's supposed to be 74 and sunny!  WOOOOT!
