Hello from an old gal in a new forum
Hi everyone, I'm Mary.
I've been around for a while on this or that board, and been lurking here. Great folks on this board. I am waiting for surgery, authorization pending at the insurance office. I started out at 325 and I'm 5'5". My BMI 54.1 I've since lost about 40 pounds, but still have a very long way to go. Happy to meet everyone, and to be here. Blessings to all.

Hi Mary, Welcome to this forum. Take the journey a day at a time. I started this weight loss journey a bit over a year ago, it was really slow going until October for me and have lost over 100lbs. I try and focus not on how much I have to go but on how far I have come. Celebration of the achievements and the progress that I have made in the last 8 months has been key to my success to date. I seriously suggest switching your thinking up to focus on the positive and I think the journey will be so much more for you. Best of luck to you and please see my suggestions as that suggestions. Your journey is about what works for you.
