Pedometer?

Does anyone know where I can find a pedometer that goes around your ankle? I want to make sure it is big enough to go around my ankle.  Or should I get the one that clips on your waist? I know that there are ones that go on your hip movement and not sure how much I move my hips.  I take smaller steps so I don't know if it would register right.
Thanks for help

I have not seen an ankle one, of course I did not look for one either.  I have been using one on the waist of my pants and have actually counted a few times to see if it registers my steps and surprisingly it is normally pretty accurate.  I had similar concerns.  Make sure it is right over your hipbone and it should be fine.
My freind attaches it to here shoe laces for spin class and it counts ok there too.  Give it a try.
Good luck.

I have never seen the ankle clip ones.  I wear the GOWEAR Fit monitor and it counts your steps and tells you how many calories your body burns all day.   It's a little pricy but if you buy the membership to their activity website it drops the price.  www.gowearfit.com

I have never seen one that goes around teh ankle either.

If you buy a hip one, I would suggest one with the cover. I found that I would reset it when I sat down at my desk when I had one without a cover.

I have had 4 pedometers the best one is SportLine.
You can put the exact length of your step starting at 20 inch steps, it tells you calories, the amount of time that you have walked even if it is throughout the day and how much you have walked, All this is miles or kilometers. You can put it in arm band, hip or clip to baseball cap. Only thing it does not have a cover. It is 39.99 at Dicks
