From reading the post, there are alot of new faces. Kik and Margie where are you guys? I think I have been gone for about 10 months. Not much has happened. I was in training for the Chicago Half Marthon. However, I just got out of the hospital for 5-days from doing something to my sciatic nerve. Other than that work, work, work.

As far as my weight is concerned, I have come to realize that you have to work this tool in order for it to work for you. You have to stay focused at all times. I must re-focus about 3 times a day.
In the beginning I THOUGHT that plastic surgery was an option. Now I know it is a neccesity. I have lost between 205-210 lbs and have the hanging skin to show for it.

All I really wanna say is congratulation on changing your life and HI!!!

Thanks for the compliment. I see you have surgry coming up in August. I wish you an uneventful surgery and recovery. It will be 3 years for me in January. This is a life changing surgery. Well it was for me. I had been super morbid obese my entire life. So that is how I lived my life. I still have to remind myself of little things like I can fit in a booth and a chair with arms. That Avenue has nothing in that store that I can wear and that I CANT EAT THAT...I have to remind myself that sometime before I dump and sometimes after.

Again good luck on your journey..hold on it can get sometimes..but well worth.

Oh..no I never thought about modeling....still have fat issues(I still see and feel fat)I am 5'8 and weigh between 150-160. I guess that is one of the side effect of WLS

Thanks again

Thank you for the words of encouragement. It's the last couple of months that drive you crazy with the waiting.

To look at your picture, you look like you were never heavy.  And I can't wait to be 2  1/2 years post op like you.

Sorry, I don't make myself clear about my posts.
You don't look like you need plastic surgury. and you're right about us taking control of our lives.  It's the only one we have.
My brain isn't working to good because of a head cold.

Thanks.....

You know I have been a big girl my entire life and I could not wait to be smaller to be able to walk comfortably in some heels. Until I got injured, I wore them everyday and when my doctore gives the okay I will wear them again. It was one of my WLS goals.

Wow Tricie what a transformation, you look fabulous dahling!  Our start weight was pretty similiar (350)  and if I look as good as you it would be awesome.  I am almost 9 months out and have lost 104 with 81 to go............ I am almost 5-9 and that will be plenty for me.
