Still Waiting
I was denied my first time in April. Now my insurance wants 6 month supervised weight loss. Which my doctor back dated to March. and I need another psych exam to see what they will do Post-op. Idaho Medicaid and the hoops you go through. So in Sept. my doctor will re submit and in Aug i'll see the shrink. Hopefully this time it will work I have lost 35lbs sence Feb. My doctor wanted me to loose at least that much pre-op but I'm afraid I'll gain it back by then. I am eating about 700 cal a day. But this gets fustrating.
Congrats on your loss so far but I encourage you to increase your calories. 700 is not enough! Your body will go into starvation mode and will start saving fat instead of burning it! I've lost a bit over 50lbs since the end of Feb. keeping my calories between 1000 and 1200 a day, watching carbs and making sure I get over 64oz of water a day...and I haven't had a stall yet! (Knocking on wood!) I vary the calories every day on purpose, not the same number and not the same food, gotta keep your body guessing what you're gonna give it tommorow!
I vary my calories also I am at a stop this month. I didn't get to excerise much. We were testing for EMT so I actually gained 2 lbs this month. I cut out the carbs mostly. My dietation had me on this diet one shake for breakfast one for lunch meat and veggies for dinner. When she thought I would get approved in 2-3 months. I don't know what she wants now. Thanks everyone for the encouragement and help.
