weird gym related sweat question

Hey everyone. I had my RNY on 3/4/09. Started losing fast and have already slowed considerably (but that's not the problem...at least not at the moment.). I have joined a gym and have been going 6 days a week for about 3 weeks now. I haven't been able to see my dr. to get off of weight restriction yet (hopefully at this week's appt.). I do the treadmill and bike for between 30 mins to an hour. It's kind of embarrassing to sweat as much as I do. Especially when everyone is running and you're just walking. Anyway, I have a terrible rash on my forehead and cheeks. I figure it's just a sweat rash. But it is embarrassing. It doesn't itch or anything. Just wanted to know if anybody else got this type of thing when they first started out really exercising. Did you do anything to relieve it or just make it not stand out so much?

With all the fluctuations in your body right now, i sweated ALOT the first few months due to all the hormonal changes, with losing fat, you lose estrogen as well, i was sweating unbelieveable buckets.  Double check with your dr if you are still concerned, but i figure this was normal (for me at least), keep up the good work.  lys

I was sweating buckets for the first 3-4 months, now I freeze to death, I feel like I went through the change and now I am like an 80year old frozen woman...other than that I am fine...I never ever sweat, have lost 200lbs...and still have 75 to go...painted 800square feet of deck in 90 degree heat and never broke a sweat....

Good to know it's not just me that sweats. Gotta tell you, I'm waiting on the day I can not sweat.
