Afternoon Everyone!!

It is a rainy chilly day here - I wanted to crawl back under the covers and go back to sleep this morning but my 7 yr old wouldn't let me.

Tell me what you did to move your body today..

I am shaking things up this week to see if I can move some weight so I am taking a 60 min Wet and Sweat Class tonight instead of spin.

Have a great rest of the day everyone!!

I stuck with my plan to move it, move it on the elliptical.....

I did 30 mins of lat pull downs and pec presses followed up by 20 mins on the elliptical..... and then I huffed and puffed my way into the locker room showers.... LOL

I didn't wake up early enough for a before-work spinning class (I blame the yucky weather!) so I'm going to do some treadmill time tonight.  Not the most exciting workout, but it'll give me some time to read or watch TV.

I like to move it, MOVE IT!

I went into work and the computer systems were DOWN with an estimated time of 2 PM to be back up. Yesterday was 80 and sunny and today was more of the same. Didn't have to twist my arm to take a vacation day. Besides, it saved the State of Oregon from paying me to sit and read manuals.

I had planed all the veggies that I got on Sat. so Clay & I made another trip plant shopping. I filled my back planters as well as started prepping a bed for the cukes. Boy am I tired. Thank goodness for SPF 50 waterproof and the garden hose when I got too warm.

I should start posting here again. I am bad about it, even when I do actually exercise.

I went to the gym yesterday and walked on the treadmill for 50min at varying speeds and inclines (2.5-3mph) I ended up walking 2.4 miles and felt fine. I've been going to the gym nearly every day for a week and after literally about 2 months of no formal workouts I expected it to be much harder but I guess all the walking and stairs I take a work kept me from backsliding too much because its been surprisingly easy, no soreness no ridiculous heartrate, nothing. I wish I had the guts to jog in public! Walking is a little too easy sometimes, even on the treadclimber, and the elliptical is uncomfortable for me, I'm so short and its made for taller people for sure. Hiking works very well but the weather has been an issue. I am dead tired and starved after the 3 mile hike we do here, it takes about 2hrs and is not at all easy.
