Venting
Got my 1st denial letter today from my State medicaid. What they want seems to be what i have allready done documentation od mood disorder. I had my psych appt 1 month ago it was sent in mby my doctor. And Post operative plan you would think the doctor sent that too. What more do they want. I guess it would help if someone in the office would answer my questions. i e-mailed them a copy of the letter but they didn't even get back to me. I guess I'll just have to wait and see hopefully they resubmit it. Has anyone had this problem before???? Lisa
No I haven't heard anything yet! 
you can't just sit back and hope they'll resubmit.... or that they'll get back to you..... in my personal opinion most of the insurance companies say no the first time hoping you'll roll over and go back to sleep and let it go.... you are the only one who can fight to get this surgery.... you have to be your own advocate and make yourself heard.... so call, call, call... find out what exactly the insurance company still needs and make sure they get it....
