Gym's open - Friday
I missed posting yesterday because I am just so busy here. I will say that having the trainer is giving me solace in my life. I know that sounds weird to say, but if I didn't have that appointment with him M,W, and F, I would be at work at 7AM and I've been working till around 7 or 8 pm every day this week. That would just be a bit too much.
So I'm thankful for my trainer, and I really feel good when I'm done working out with him. Even if he tortures me...ahem...I mean provides me therapy. He doesn't allow words like pain, torture, it's killing me. He calls it therapy. If he's increasing the weight, he calls it a reward. But he's really good and we get along really well.
We've been doing a fat burning weight training routine for the last two weeks. You basically do a set for 20 seconds, rest for 10, then do another set for 20 second for 8 reps. Your muscles are really fatigued and it actually turns into an aerobic workout. My heart rate increases and so does my breathing.
I've gained 5 pounds since last week, and it's either water weight because of Aunt Flo, or muscle gain (!!!) or a combination of both. But I feel good and my arms are looking pretty good. I can actually notice a difference in the flab under the arms so that's a benny!
Will you move to lose today?

I've started doing yoga at this place in town. I really like it a lot. I do the Hot Powered Yoga classes -- the one where it's 90 degrees. When I first walk in I want to faint from the heat but somehow I get through the entire hour and a half session. Puddles and puddles of sweat is an understatement. Gah! I always feel so great afterwards.
I'm still working with my trainer 4 days a week too. I'm also trying to fit in at least 2-3 days of hard core cardio as well.
I'm enjoying being physically able to keep up with it all. It's such a different life than the one I was living pre-surgery. It's so nice to get out and try different things without worrying who's watching my fat rolls or if I'm going to be the biggest one there and all those other mental blocks that kept me inside for years.
Having said that - tonight I'm doing a Hot Powered Yoga class. Tomorrow I train and then Sunday I'm doing my cardio and a Restorative yoga class. I can't wait.

I am doing some hardcore cleaning and also did a yoga booty ballet tape. I wish I could afford a trainer, it would be a very welcome change at this point.
