Gym's Open - Where's everyone been?

It's been quiet on the workout posting.  What's everyone been doing out there?  With the change in the weather (at least for us) it's been beautiful to get outside and move!

My trainer, I swear, tried to kill me this morning.  He's got me doing this fat-burning routine that he started last week where you do 20 reps, rest for 10 seconds and then another 20 for 8 sets.  I just want you to know my arms/shoulders/tri's are weary today.

I asked him about my huge thighs and he said that this is going to definitely help with the fat burning.  Gosh I hope so.  I gained 5 pounds last week, but I know it's water.

I went to talk to my volunteer ushers this past saturday.  They have been volunteering for the Symphony at their new venue while the Theatre has been under renovation.  Almost all of them walked right past me and didn't recognize me until I opened my mouth and then it was a dead ringer.  They are all retired and like my grandparents.  They were so sweet.

Too many wanted to know how much I had lost and I just told them a whole bunch of weight.  One kept pressing and I told her that I don't care to share numbers. That shut her up quick.

So...with the warm-up for most of the United States...will you move to lose today?

Hey I'm in the office today so of course I hit the gym... well, not the building itself, but definitely the recumbent bike for 45 mins....  LOL

The weather was terrific this weekend but since the dang weatherman had predicted rain all weekend (which we didn't get a drop of) I ended up being a couch/lounge chair potato all weekend long..... LOL

I so hate that.  You have big plans in mind earlier in the week...then weatherman predicts rain...then you change plans and weather is great.  Bummer.

Spin class...brave girl.  Biking hurts my knees which means the seat is probably not adjusted properly for my height.  You go!

Spinning only hurts my a%$!!  Tonight I wrapped my sweatshirt around the seat for extra cushion and it worked!!  Hopefully my butt will not be as sore tomorrow as it was last week...

I've had this problem for a week - a large (plum)  infected abcess in a very unfortunate place that has kept me from walking much or sitting much. I could pretty much stand or lay since Thurs. It drained Sat but I am still limited somewhat because I don't want to irritate it or further infect it. We planned a hike yesterday but will have to change it to the coming weekend. I'm going to try to get back to the gym as soon as I can but in the meantime I've been very inactive - reading and working from home and cleaning. This is spring break this week at least so I don't plan to work just read and clean.

And btw, pain from both of my gut surgeries, broken limbs, gall bladder surgery, sprained ankles, and anything else that ever happened to me did not compare to how I felt Sat before that thing burst. You have way too many nerves in your lady parts!!!

Oh my...that sounds awful.  I have a small pea-sized one that I've been watching in the fold between my thigh and groin.  All those folds of skin, moist areas and heat make for an excellent environment for that stuff.

I hope it heals up fast and dries up soon!
