Can someone please explain this to me?

Hi everyone. I just have a question to ask. Next wednesday I am going to my surgeon visit. What happens at this visit? The only thing I was really told is to bring my husband. I am kind of nervous because I don't know what to expect. I called the surgeons office, which is Dr. Mann, and I asked the woman who answered the phone what happens at the surgeon viisit. Is it the decision visit or is it different. She telle me she doesn't know and the woman who can tell me won't be back in till tuesday so I left my name and number on her voicemail. So, I decided to come on here hoping someone can explain it to me. Anyone would be fine but if somone who has Dr. Mann as their surgeon can answer this for me, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks everyone and sorry for all of the questions here lately...lol

 Each office is different.  I suggest you go to the NC forum and ask there.  You have a better chance of finding someone who used the same dr.  Good luck!

At my first visit they weighed me, talked to me about surgery options and what requirements and tests I'd need to have (I needed to lose 40lbs at least to be able to have laparoscopic surgery) and gave me orders for sleep tests, blood work, cardiac clearance, etc. They took a general health history, had me talk to dietician etc. It was straightforward. Every place is different but they won't be doing anything invasive or anything I'm sure - just talking.
