One of the Asian girls I work with stops at a local place and gets it freshly made to order. She get hers sweetened, I add splenda to mine. Of course it's the tall thin girl in the office that stops and gets it daily for herself.
They actually have machines you can buy to make fresh soy milk from beans at home. Sorta like brewing coffee. I've read about it and it's very healthy and full of protein, so I figured it's probably better than a latte.

20 oz mootopia is 35g protein, cheese was 7g, 4oz chicken is 28g, muffin has a few, edamame a few - so yeah I think I'm ok. I rely on mootopia for half of my protein most days. I haven't been getting as much protein lately, tis true.

No it definitely doesn't stay with you as long, tis true. Even this far out I still prefer a liquid breakfast though. No worries, its all good - that's what this post is for! I would usually have more protein for lunch than I did today and like you would usually add protein to the muffin. I just wasn't in the mood today. Since going off the pill I have a real clear eating pattern - Week of period very hungry, next two weeks mostly make myself eat, week before period ravenous evil monster. I used to be much more even keel - I guess those hormone surges are pretty crazy.
Drinking liquid I totally understand, that's is why I have the morning homemade latte - my pouch will still to this day not let me eat first thing in the morning. It doesn't matter if we're up at 4:45AM or 7AM it's the same.
My Dr wants me to get protein in within 15 minutes of waking up, even if it's just a bite of cottage cheese, but pouch won't do it. So we compromised, I drink the latte with at least 1 cup nonfat milk, and then an hour or so later I eat some breakfast. Your Asian salad sounds so yummy!
