Monday's Gym call

Well, after a shopping full weekend, I'm so excited to be back at work...NOT!

Karl had his duty this weekend and I drove over to Destin and shopped a little.  I love finding deals and I got a cashmere short sleeve sweater for $10 at Stein Mart.  I was doing a little happy dance.

I had to go to walmart and get some protein powder this morning so I was running late for work.  So I had a small upper body 20 minute work out this morning. 

Did you move to lose or maintain today?

I did 40 mins of bike book and me time before the elect. went out.... and then while showering by emergency lighting I was like a deer in the headlights when it popped back on..... LOL

40* and SUNNY here!  I walked for an hour in Ellicott Creek Park.  I sat down for 10 min mid walk though.  Ahhhh...SPRING. 

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!

Hi, Kathy.  I'm going to the gym in a few minutes.  Planning to do 20 minutes on the elliptical, 10-20 minutes on the bike, then machines for lower-body strength training, and to wrap up with some very light hand weights for upper body and some stretching.  I'm working on getting back into my exercise groove, and my commitment is to go 3x this week!
