I lost the 3 lbs that I found last week. If I feel well enough to swim later, I'll see where I am today.

I am envious of your swimming.  You'd think in South La I would have a place to swim during the winter months, but I don't so I have to stick with the treadmill - YUCK!

Yeah, for me the health club membership has truly been a lifesaver. Even at my fattest, I still tried to swim at least once a week. I think that freedom to more so much more freely in the water than on land has helped me stay much more flexible than if I only exercised on land.

We originally joined with a family membership, but no one else went consistently, so I dropped it to individual to save $. I do wish Clay would go as well, but I'm pleased that I continued it for just myself and didn't rationalize myself into quitting as well. Part of taking care of myself.

I keep getting two or three lbs different in the same day though!  I  think I have to stop weighing more than once a week.  I'm getting nuts with it.  Every time I use the toilet I strip and get on the scale.  I think I'll move it down to the garage where it's not so accessible.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!

I am a chronic weigher myself.  I am thankful though that whatever the weight, I don't let myself get down.  As long as I show a loss by Monday, I am satisfied.  I am a bit worried that when the weight loss subsides, the need to weigh will start weighing down my psyche!
