Gym's Open - Monday

I just wish I could understand this surgery.  Realistically, I would have to consume an excess 9,000 calories to gain 3 pounds and I know I didn't do that.  I'm just in that frustrated zone again...

but on to the gym.  I increased my weight on most of my arms, shoulders and tricep exercises this morning and got there about 15 minutes earlier than I have been so I wasn't rushed.

what will you do to move to lose today?

Since they are predicting a frigid wind for this evening, my plans are to hit the treadmill again.

Are you retaining water? Sometimes when I get busy and don't drink enough, my bod holds on to whatever water comes its way...

It felt so good to swim on Saturday that I'm bugging out early from work to swim again today and then will put in a bit of time from home. I so much prefer swimming before the 5-7 pm crush....

Glad you're back Patty!  I get SAD-y too in the winter.  I just try to keep crocheting so I won't go totally insane.  This time of the year is hard at our latitude (or is it longitutde?  not sure) Spring is coming though so hang in there 

 

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!

I'm going to the gym after work - plan to do 30-40 minutes of low-medium intensity cardio, some lower body strength training, very very lights weights for upper body (depending on how my arms feels), and 10-15 minutes of stretching to cool down.

I have big bloody blisters on both heels so I haven't been to the gym in about a week (although I did do yoga at home Mon).

Nope they weren't even cute. I just didn't know how much I'd be walking that day. If they'd been cute... MAYBE.. but no they were just boring old ugly payless slip-ons. Boo!
