Was hoping I was pregnant but the hopes were dashed. Oh well, its all good... except for the ^&%($ scale. I am up 4lbs from my lowest weight 3 weeks ago. I DO NOT LIKE THIS TREND and its especially confusing since my clothes are all getting too big again.

Me, too, Patty.  I am alarmed that my weight has shot up six lbs in one week.  I feel fat, bloated, and gross.  It's the carbs, and not enough exercise.

TW: 246! 


I need to start focusing more on myself and less on my stressful job.  It's hard, we're short staffed and smack in the middle of two grant cycles.  Even so, it's not an excuse for eating carbs.
Ugh.

The whole food and exercise thing is so much easier to manage without a job in the mix, isn't it?

More and more these days I am seeing that so much of my triggers have to do with stress. And I even got myself some Yoga for Yoyos (big people) DVDs to help me learn to relax. You guessed it - I've been too busy to even open them!

And you are absolutely right - we need to focus more on ourselves. My problem is that I'm so much of a co-dependant with work -  I tend to think the "someone" who gets things done has to be me.
