i'm home from my thigh lift.  been sleeping on and off all afternoon in the recliner.  i was tempted to try the stairs and get to my own bed, but then I got a big dose of reality and will spend the night on the recliner for the next couple of night.
I am wanting John to get the toilet seat riser.  I didn't think I'd need it but I do.  I cannot believe how much better my legs look even though they are heavily bandaged at this point.  the small amout of skin you can see at the top of the bandages looks tight and much smoother.  I hope this will be what I see when Dr. Lee takes off the bandages on Tuesday.

No On Q pump - I haven't needed it.  just using the vicoedin and doing OK.

Wow!  That is awesome.  Congrats.  How long did you stay in the hospital?

I woke up around 1145 in the recovery room, and after about 2 hours I was leaving the hospital.  This has been much easier than the body lift.

Thanks Diane. I'm doing good here in the recliner, but getting bored, which isn't good.

 Already!!!  I never would have expected you would be home already - you are a superwoman.  Heal yourself up and keep us posted when you can.

I was a bit surprised too, but I felt OK, and it is considered outpatient, not like the body lift.  I was surprised to go home 1 day after that surgery and thought that was fast.  I think I could have stayed a few hours longer, but the nurse was sorta pushy about getting me out. 

I can't believe you are doing this good, this early.  You know we ALL want to see pictures!
