Do your feet lose weight?

I have 3 pairs of new shoes that SHOULD have fit me but are too tight.  I really like them and have kept them (I ordered them online).  So I was thinking, maybe they might fit after I lose weight?  Do feet lose weight?

 oh yes ive heard lots of people do and im only 3 months out and my shoes are flopping on me now....kathy

I am down from 8.5 extra wide to a 7 sometimes regular and sometimes wide.

Don't wear them now.  I have lost from a 10W down to a 9.5 or 9 medium and it depends upon the shoe.  But I have found that shoes that I wore at 375 pounds would not fit at all.

My tennis shoes that I got just after surgery are way too big now even though they are 9.5 regular.  The pressure of the weight has got to have something to do with it too.
