i think i read that you're having your thighs done soon -- good luck! i had mine done this past summer and am thrilled with the change. walking is just a joy without all that excess skin on the legs.

Thanks Deb. I'm having them done on Saturday - it is a gift to myself for the 2yr anniversary of my bypass - Jan 31, 07. I am thankful that the Lord opened the doors to do my thighs and that the date He arranged was so important to me!
I have had the opportunity recently to talk with 3 people in my aquafit classes who are in the process of preparation for bypass surgery and have been able to share with them how their lives will change and stress the need to follow the rules, get exercise and not fall back into old habits. I hope that stories like ours can inspire them to change their lives and go forward with surgery without fear knowing that there is more to life than food.
