Monday Weigh In (January 26, 2009)

I have a full week ahead of me, so I thought I'd open the scales early.

I'll post the last weight I was when I weighed a couple of days ago.  It's hardly a surprise.

240 lb.

I'm doing an Atkins-like induction phase, so I expect the scale to shift by next week.

How did everyone else do this past week?  I'm just glad the holiday carbs have gone the way of the holidays, ugh.

Happy Australia Day!  I am down 3.3lbs this week and that puts me half way to goal.  I am so, so happy!  Here's to a great week of losses!!!!

   I  did get my period today so maybe I'll lose some water weight!  Yipee!

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!

I had my first gain since surgery.

BW - 443.4
SW - 410
LW - 253.5
TW - 254.5

I am not surprised.  I lost so much so fast in the past few weeks that I am crossing my fingers that his is my body responding to that.  I am going to do my best to stick to mindful eating and exercise and hope this is just a temporary thing.

Kix...stress is a killer to your weight.  You need to find a way to destress throughout the day rather than eating a bagel!  Sit up straight, close your eyes, breathe in through your nose for a count of 4, then breathe out for a count of six when you are feeling stressed.

I am ashamed to post and its been going on for a month so here goes

now here is the thing i got down to 322 so i keep losing and gaining this 20 pounds,they say its female issues,im hoping thats what it is i kept a food journal so we went over it and my exercise and etc and they say im retaining water,you know pms so i take the water pills and it leaves and then comes right back.........
I am still losing inches though exsp in my upper thighs....................
So im hoping after the surgery the scale will start staying down and not come back up

I think I was 182 or 183 last Monday, and have been at 179 for the past 4-5 days.  I just had my period and some of the post-plastics swelling seems to be going away, so think it's jus****er/fluid weight that's gone for now. 

I'm in sort of a weird place, as I have very little interest in food these days.  I'm still eating pretty healthy and getting in plenty of calories/protein, just can't generate much interest in food.  For someone who used to be so motivated/interested in food, it's a strange place to be.  I've had a phases like this in the past couple years and it's always passed in a month or so; hopefully that'll be the case this time as well -

I'm still up the same two lbs I was up last week. I guess they are real pounds (247). I am very hungry right now, PMS. For the first two weeks of my cycle I barely want to eat and everything seems gross, then for two weeks I want to eat everything in sight. I prefer the first two weeks, obviously.
