Hi all,

Why can't I lose weight? Waaaah!

B - 20oz mootopia, 1 serving BA chocolate protein powder, 1 tsp sf vanilla syrup

L - turkey breast and cheese

D - not sure, maybe chili from the freezer or maybe edamame and brown rice again (food rut!)

I've decided to cut carbs a lot *tear* by cutting my fruit addiction. I'm aiming for one carby item per day. For instance today it would be brown rice or the potatoes in my chili OR a piece of fruit. I really want to lose 50 more lbs and I feel like I'm never going to manage it unless I go lower carb again. Mootopia has some carbs, but a lot less than regular milk and its my primary protein source so I'll keep it.

Edit - I was discussing the possibility of pizza with the husband. As a rule I pretty much hate pizza because we eat at school so much, but since I haven't lately, I think I might get a chicken and veggie pizza and eat some of the toppings and sauce for dinner instead.

I had an ancient crown removed yesterday afternoon because it was no longer fitting properly.  When the crown came off, the dentist discovered an even more ancient silver mercury filling that also had to come out.  I swear, he drilled until he hit magma.  Then, he had to build up the tooth so it can be fitted for a new crown.

I feel like I've been hit with sticks, and the vicodin is just taking the edge off the pain.  I am home from work today (and feeling guilty, it's the height of grant season) and I'm pretty sure I won't be eating much today.  Nothing interests me and there's no way I'm going to chew anything, so it looks like protein drinks for me.

I have been doing Atkins-like induction, though, Jenn, getting only  a minimal amount of carbs the past few days.  I think the scale might shift this week for the better, so you might try cutting out carbs for a short time to see if things shift for you, too.

I've actually upped the carbs lately with fruit...usually 2 pieces a day and it's totally taken away the munchy, crunchy cravings that I've had.  Scale moved two pounds since monday.  I just can't figure out this WLS though.  I'm consuming 1/2 of what I require to maintain and I'm exercising on top of that.  I can't eat anymore in a day unless I eat crap and I don't want to do that.

B - fiber one
L - other half of oven roasted chicken breast subway with only top half of bread
S - navel orange
S - pecans
D - pork roast and some veggie.
