Hello All,
Hope this finds you all well and happy. Just a quick note to bring you up to date here - life is too busy at the moment!
I'm officially now in the 240's!! Saturday I weighed in at 246.5! Just 6.5 more pounds and I'll be down 200 lbs since surgery. Of course I jumped on the scale this morning I'm back to bouncing around. Oh well!
Next Wednesday (1/28) I'm in the hospital for my other knee replacement. I have a feeling this is going to be like RNY surgery - you go in feeling pretty good and come out feeling like poo! My first knee replacement I was in so much pain going in that I knew whatever pain I woke up with would be better than what I went in with - but this time, I fairly pain free. I'll be out Saturday and home for about two weeks. My goal for 2009 is this one surgery and NO MORE!!!
I've been so very busy doing legal transcription from home plus my regular job. Dh has been working out of town lately and has been gone for a week at a time. I really don't know how single mom's do it! One night dd and I went to bed before 7:30 and slept through the night! I've got one more transcription to get done before my surgery and then I'm off for about a week. The money isn't bad and I don't mind doing it - it's just finding the time to do it.
Gotta scoot!!! You all take care and I'll drive through again soon!

Cool beans! You are skinny!!!! I would LOVE to be in the 240's someday. Dare to dream. Congratulations!!!! :) :) :)
Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!
Two years after that....
I could not be happier.
