WEIRD EXPERIENCE---wondering if you've ever had this happen to you.

Hello everyone!

The last couple of times I've gone to a grocery store,  I've noticed that as I walk in some aisles---my mouth will start to water.  Not as in---I'm getting hungry or when you smell something that is cooking.  It's not a sick feeling that I get-just odd.  Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?

Sounds like a Pavlovian reaction. Unconcious reaction to your environment. You are seeing things that on some level are tempting, even "mouth watering". Great for you for not giving in! (Okay, yes, I'm a shrink..sorry).

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Yep I find that too!!!! I dont feel the sensation of hunger anymore, but I find my mouth watering if I think about certain foods.

Yes, it happens to me. Food doesn't trigger it that I've noticed. Sometimes its followed by nausea (often) but not always. It usually doesn't make me throw up, but its like - I could throw up real easily if I wanted to at that point. You know?
