Gym is open - Monday once again
Well, I know those of you from the mid-west and Colorado are going to laugh, but it's back in the 30's here. That's pretty cold, especially when the humidity is below 40%. Now that's a rarity. It makes it tough to get out from under the covers.
I cooked some turkey soup yesterday and blueberry muffins along with our dinner. I try to have dinner ready for Monday night because I have school and I like to be in control of what we are eating. It smelled really good.
I'm off to the gym this morning about 15 minutes earlier than the last two weeks. Today, I'm adding back in cardio pre-strength because I did poorly trying to fit cardio in after work.
So, on this third week of January, will you move to lose or has the newness worn off?

I went to the gym this morning and did 30 minutes on the treadmill at a 5.0 incline and 2.8 speed. It was pretty intense, for me at least. That's what my trainer told me to do on the opposite days of when I see him. I might go again tonight and do the same thing. I'm trying to see if I can bump my body back in the direction of losing more. We'll see how I feel after the work day.
Having a trainer is the best money I've spent because it allows me to focus on my cardio and he focuses on my toning. Before I started seeing him I was kind of at a loss when it came to my toning, but he knows what he's doing, and it feels like what we're doing is really working. We'll see.
I just have to justify the expense in my head because it's like paying an extra car note. Gah.
