My BMI was very high and I had the lapband.  It has come down a lot since..still a long way to go, but slow and steady wins the race. :)

Wannabehealthy, Wow, we had our surgeries within 10 days of each other.  You are doing a bit better than me.  That is great.  Most of my weight loss has come on recently as I think I am finally getting the hang of this thing and able to rid myself of my bad habits.  I am grateful for every lb shed and am giddy at the thought of every pound yet to come off!  I am glad things are going well for you.

I guess in the scheme of things I am doing pretty good.  I have lost almost 50 lbs in 6 months.  I am actually on target with the goals and timeline that I set for myself when I had the surgery.  My PCP is happy that the weight is coming off at the pace that it is.  I am feeling better even with just that little bit of weight.  I wish you the best.  If you want to add me as a friend go right ahead.  I keep my sight pretty updated.  Good luck.

Kristina,

You are doing great.  I actually had my biggest drops in the early stages and find that I'm struggling more recently.  I seem to be able to each much more than I should and am having a very hard time with head hunger.  I'm hoping that will soon change.  I bought a treadmill a couple of weeks ago and have been faithful with it and will be starting a new job this coming Monday which I'm hoping will keep me on a better eating schedule.  My worst times are at night so in the beginning I'm sure I'll be too tired to stay awake and eat..lol.

You are doing great!  I've added you to my friends list, so hopefully we can chat and support each other though this wonderful journey we are on :)
