Good morning all! Here's my plan -

B - 16oz mootopia Edit - I made a BA protein shake instead, with water. Not sure what I think of the vanilla. Yes I am. Its gross.

L - leftover enchiladas, 1 piece of dark chocolate

S - cherry tomatoes with salt and pepper

D - not sure, something inexpensive (ala canned beans and bratwurst or something)

Oh I will be soooo glad to see Ryan's first paycheck next Fri. I can't handle anymore bill collectors.

A cowoker (AKA - the devil) brought in donuts today.  I have never really had a hard time resisting but today I have a headache and I want a donut!!!!  Ok - whining over.

Pre B - decaf coffee
B - 1/2 orange (didn't hit the spot like a donut would have)
L - salad fixings with tuna
S - yogurt
D - ???

Last night I had a turkey rollup.  Same thing I had the two night previous with no problems.  Last night, sick city!!!!  I swear sometimes I feel like I play Russian Rulette where food is concerned.

I've found that too. Sometimes its because I ate it too fast - did you eat it fast?

No, I have always been a slow eater.  I have no clue what this is about but it sure is taking some getting used to.

Busy very foggy Friday here! It's very thick and cool this morning but later they say Santa Ana winds will kick in and it should be in the 80's all weekend.

Last night we had a nice little jolt of an earthquake, awww the joy of living in beautiful So Calif! It was more than a jolt actually, there was a weird rumbling sound and then the house started shaking. Hubby was walking around the house and didn't believe me when I said "Earthquake!"

Pre B - 1/2 SF NF Cookie Dough Latte

B - english muffin with peanut butter and 1/2 banana

S - Chai Tea Misto

S - 1 bag Popumz - organic multigrain crisps

L - homemade beef stew

S - cottage cheese and Splenda peaches

D - Eggface's brocolli cheese soup

S - mango slices

Clinell - that happens to me too. It usually happens when I'm anxious when I eat. I can tolerate most things (I don't venture out too far from what I know won't hurt me though). The other night I went to Outback with my mom and I was getting hyped up telling her a story and I noticed my food wasn't setting well. I had to calm down for a little while before I could eat again. It's the little things you learn along the way!

Today my food plan is:

B:
Water and 16oz Mootopia

L: Taco Soup (of course!)

S: Activia yogurt

D: No clue (my niece is having her birthday party tonight, so I will either pick at food or go home and eat - what else - Taco Soup)

I'm going out of town this weekend so my food for this weekend will consist of whatever I can pick at. The hardest thing with the stage I'm at now is making the outside world fit into MY new world. I just can't eat anywhere and anything anymore. I miss that. It's not that I miss the food (I do sometimes), but for the most part it's annoying to have to plan so much. I've never been a big planner (probably what contributed to my weight gain for so many years) but it goes against the grain for me to plan out every, little detail of my food intake. I feel like this surgery has stages to it. For the first months I was sick, vomiting all the time, then I suddenly could handle food and now I'm having trouble with the discipline, planning and emotional part of the journey. I guess that's just the way it is though.

Hey Jenny...where do you get MOOTOPIA? I haven't seen it yet around here. I just like the name!

I am living on Sugar Free popsicles this morning. I still have a cold and am having trouble swallowing. For some reason I barfed my protein last night. Ugh.

I am going to try some cottage cheese in a little while and see how that goes.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!

I hope you feel better soon! Mootopia is available basically only in TX, Mexico and LA. Its from a grocery chain called HEB. It lactose free, hormone free, and higher in protein than regular milk. A 16oz glass gets you 24g of protein. I wish they had it everywhere but you might find something similar at your grocers.

It sounds cool!
I wi**** were available nationwide. We do have an enriched skim milk product around here. It is skim but it is supposed to taste like 2%, I guess they add stuff to it. I think I'll take a look at that next time I go to Wegmans and see how the nutrition looks. I never considered trying it.
