Quick PS update

Just a quick update on my progress after my BL/brachioplasty on 12/16.  I had my 2nd f/u appt on Monday, and my surgeon removed one more drain.  I still have one drain in my right armpit, but it is finally starting to slow down (output is down to ~60 ccs/day from 100 ccs/day).  I'm going back to work half-time next Monday, 1/12, then full-time the week after that.  I'm able to drive now, although I haven't ventured very far from home yet.  All in all, I'm feeling much better and that continues to improve day-by-day.  I'm happy with the results and feel that in the long-run, the gain will be worth the pain.

Thanks to everyone for their support during these past few months - I really appreciate it....

Yeah Kellie!

One more down, one to go!  yippee!

Glad to hear that you're continuing to improve,  happy that you can drive yourself again. That's a biggie! Freedom!

Take it easy going back to work!  You're probably going nuts being at home so long!

Take Care and God Bless,

Diane

 Kellie,

I was wondering about you and if you had gotten the drains out. I FULLY understand how hard  it is to be patient during this time, and how excited and frustrated you can be at the same time.

Praying for continued healing for your body, and patience for your mind.  I am also hoping that I can remember this in a few weeks when I have my thighs done.
