Hello to all of my fellow losers, just stopped in to say hello, I read quite frequently but more of a lurker, having a bit of hair loss but that is expected.  Just a little over 3 months post-op and have lost 98 lbs since the whole process began.  One of the hardest things I have is to get pills down.  Just wanted to say good luck in the new year.

Way to go! Congrats on the weight loss! I'm so proud for you!

Getting pills down is not easy, but it does get easier, so hang in there.

I'm right there with you on the hair loss. Mine didn't start falling out until the 6th month and now -- almost 2 months later it's not falling out as much, but there is still a clump here and there. Lovely, isn't it!

Congratulations on your weight loss so far!! 98 pounds is amazing! you rock!

I noticed the hair loss at about 4 months out, it's been about 5 weeks and it's still coming out, not clumpy but just a lot more of the strands in the sink!  I wonder when it'll stop???
Sorry, didn't mean to worry you, I'm sure it'll stop some time. lol.

Keep doing what you're doing, the pills will get easier the farther out you get!

Take Care,

Diane

Congrats! I am hoping that post RNY all of my hair loss will be from my legs. What are the chances?
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
