Biggest Loser

 I noticed that too! I LOVE the biggest loser and am so inspired by the contestants but it was pretty sophomoric to show the one silver team lady hitting the floor and the camera shook? Uh...that is not what BL viewers want to see. I don't find that hilarious at all. Been there, done that and have the xxx large tshirt to prove it.
By the way, they had another contestant on there once that had gained her weight back after the RNY. It was the one that had the navy wives vs. the marine wives. I remember Bob saying something to the wls player along the lines of "There aren't any short cuts here honey" and I was a little peeved!

As I posted on another forum...I can't stand these biggest loser/whatever loser shows. The people are treated as freaks, disrespected, and made fun of by the very people who are supposed to be there to help them. I admit I watched the first show to see if the SMO show would be any different. No, it wasn't. The only loser show I've seen where the people are treated with respect and genuine caring is Big Medicine.

My husband, who's a big guy himself, hates watching the Biggest Loser because it reminds him of when he was in High School and kids made fun of him or having to be weighed in front of a group of people.  I never understood that piece of it until the show the other nite.  For some reason, it clicked and now I understand his perspective.  I really hope that, in future shows, the producers will change the tone of the show to be more positive....but, unless they're clubbed over the head with a dose of "what's what", I'm not going to hold my breath.  I'm very curious as to how they're going to handle the whole supersize issue -- I'm SURE it's new to most who are involved with the show.  Unfortunately, I do believe they could make things worse for those who are SMO -- or not.......we'll have to wait and see.....I'll wait another show or two and if it's not better, I'm getting out my ugly pen for the dose of reality they need!
