Calorie Countdown - Traitorous Tuesday

My body let me down. Its a traitor. For some reason I thought yesterday that I could survive on about 3 hours sleep (went to bed at 9pm, didn't fall asleep until 1am, alarm rang at 4am). By last night I felt really bad and shivering cold. I am not young any longer. Instead of me cooking, my husband warmed up leftoever lasagna. I had a few bites and got nauseas. It passed so I had a few more. It came back, I felt bad (lemon drops help me sometimes but nooo). So I went to bed at 7:30. When the alarm rang this morning at 4 I promptly announced that I'd be working from home today and went back to bed (so in my husband's eyes I am a traitor ). I woke up 3 times in the next couple hours to hurl. Now I am up and sort of moving but afraid to eat so I am sipping some water.  I hope its just a fluke, not a virus, and please please not a complication. Every time something goes awry in the belly area I immediately panic about complications. I think I am traumatized about the first ones.  I swear I am not a hypochondriac, I just play one on the internet.

So food. I am going to go real easy on pouchy today

B - water and vitamin C with my iron

I did pretty good for the day even with the drink.  These are gross carbs and do not take into consideration the workout I did this  morning.

Jenn, I doubt it's a complication.  I find since WLS, if I try to burn the candle at both ends, my body responds almost like it's coming down with something.  A good night's rest, some high quality protein, plenty of water (when I burn the candle at both ends, it always seems to me that I don't drink enough water), and you'll be back to your old self in no time.

Of course, I'm a fine one to talk, I've been eating poorly and not getting enough water.  It's going to bite me in the azz in a day or two.

Here's what I ate yesterday:

B: Starbux coffee and pumpkin scone (da$& those scones, they are like heroin)
S: tub o'coffee
L: turkey and swiss sandwich and a handful of Doritos
D: 3 tacos from Taco Bell
S: protein drink

Now, where's the nutritional value in any of that, other than the protein drink?  I swear, I'm running amok.

Kix
