Hey Kathy,
Speaking as someone who has fainted at the gym and twice at home after a hard workout (once in the shower and the other time when I stood up after throwing up) I can say that what helped me the most was a small snack (protein and carbs) 30min before I work out. I usually do a cup of yogurt, but a banana and some peanut butter also worked well. A lot of people seem to be fainty with orthostatic hypotension post-RNY.
As for working out today - I haven't gone to the gym in a while but I did do a pilates video several times last week and on Mon. Today I will go to the gym and walk the treadclimber for 20min then do 2 circuits on the weight machines. I need to push the weights more I think.
