The ones at my gym go to 400lbs. Its a 24hr fitness, very small and you can go anytime. Its not as intimidating as some gyms.

Treadmills are a big investment, especially ones for home that can handle higher weights. You MIGHT want to consider getting a free week at a gym, working out every day, and making sure you actually like the treadmill before you buy one. Just a thought.

However here is a list that includes several that go to 350 or 400 with ratings.

Good luck!

I bought one at Sears right after I had surgery, it could hold up to 400lbs.

You have to pay alot more for the ones that hold more weight. I think mine was around $700.00.

Have you checked with any of your Community Centers where you live.  The City here has exercise rooms for City Residents and there are some community centers for the county residents as well. They are free and a great resource.

Check out th YMCA...usually they have good equipment and a non intimidating environment too.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!
