HI friends ~ How was everyones Christmas?
I went to Grandms's house for Christmas eve...she bought me some cottage cheese I could eat wiith the family 
I went to Momand Dad's for Christmas day. My sister and her BF met us there and we had brunch together.

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!
Two years after that....
I could not be happier.

We had a fantastic holiday. It was just dh, our 6 year old dd, and myself and I have to say it was one of the best ever! Dh got me a nice assortment of SF chocolates from a local shop - YUM! (But oh, the aftermath - is it possible to be more sensitive to sugar alcohols than real sugar??)

Jana, the SF candy is great going down but the aftermath is miserable, for you AND your family. When I eat even a half a serving, I get the worst, smelliest gas in the world! If I eat a whole serving, well, let's just say it's a great remedy for constipation!
Just learn where your tolerance level is and stay below it. The gas does pass (LOL!) and if you want that sweet reminder of chocolate, then it's worth it.

Hello...My Holiday was nice... It was my Daughters 1st Christmas so it was nice... She was opening presents by herself I was surprised...lol We went to my Dad's house and had to make a stop at his parents house as well... They only live around the cornor from my Dad's so it was easy to just walk over there...lol Over all a nice Holiday.. ttyl....

Haha ha YES!! on th SF chocolate question. My diabetic DAD jokes about the "may cause laxitive effect" warning every Christmas when he gets a box. He learned the HARD way too!
